Water-, soil- and sea pollution constitute a serious threat to life on our
planet. Water pollution is increasing, while clean water availability is diminishing.
For monitoring large expanses of water, Liqum’s mobile wireless unit
can be installed for example in a boat.
Lake Päijänne electro-chemical gradient
100%
= normal water quality
Liqum monitored Lake Päijänne, one of Finland’s biggest lakes,
together with Jyväskylä University’s Institute for Environmental
Research. The electro-chemical measurements showed where the water quality
deviated most from the defined normal water quality, and laboratory tests verified
the results and confirmed the identification of the exact components.
Chena continuous real-time water pollution technology can be customized to
meet your specific needs. It helps companies to minimize waste, improve productivity
and protect the environment. The Chena measuring, monitoring and early warning
system places emphasis on tracking the concentration of pollutants in all liquids.
It is the world's only single-sensor system capable of detecting many organic
and non-organic contamination as low as a few parts per million.
