Liqum's real time liquid quality monitoring system is used for monitoring
and controlling the whole production process in pulp and paper mills.

Liqum technology was originally developed for Finland's high-tech papermaking
industry. This real time liquid monitoring technology is used for monitoring
and controlling the whole process in pulp and paper manufacturing. It is in
use on three continents. Dozens of industrial processes in the Americas and
in Europe are being monitored by Liqum.
Complete
process monitoring in pulp and paper mills
On
average, pulp and paper mills consume about 50 cubic meters of water per ton
of paper or pulp produced. Since the pulp and paper industry uses so much water
and produces so much wastewater, recycling water and controlling water consumption
throughout the production process is crucial. Liqum’s new way of controlling
the overall water quality has proven a great success. Every litre saved in
production reduces the burden on the environment.
